Barjasta: 190 x 125cm: This beautiful Hand-knotted rug is known as Barjasta, meaning “stand out” in Persian. A highly rare Hand-knotted combination of pile and flat weave from Moshwani Baluch nomad tribes of historic Herat in Afghanistan.

This rug is known for the uniqueness of its design, and is woven from 100% wool, incorporating natural dyes. Herat was a key art and poetry centre of the old Persian civilization.
